Why Yoga For Vets?
Yoga benefits the body, mind and spirit.  Veterans now have an opportunity to see for themselves with 4 yoga classes. These 4 free yoga classes are for war veterans only and lets yoga teachers, studios and gyms say,  "Thank You" to  those who have selflessly served their Country.

Please be thoughtful and considerate by following Yoga Etiquette:

 

  • Please be on time; bring your own yoga mat,  towel and water.
  • It is not recommended to practice yoga on a full stomach, eat a couple hours before class time.
  • Wear comfortable and loose exercise clothing that permits freedom of movement.  
  • Limit disruptions  avoid conversations -turn off phones
  • If you need to leave the practice room, please do so in between postures and  before savasana begins. .
  • It is your responsibility to inform the instructor if you are pregnant or have any injuries before class.
  • Have an intention of creating a non-competitive and peaceful environment.
  • Consistent yoga practice is necessary to obtain maximum benefits.  Remember to rest when necessary, to work at your individual level and to respect your body’s current physical state.
  • HAVE FUN!!!
